Cake File Extension Support on GitHub

The Cake Team are very proud to announce that the .cake file extension has now become a first class citizen on the GitHub Website. Starting today, your *.cake files will now appear with full syntax highlighting, in the came way that your *.cs files currently do.

Huge thanks have to go to Jonathan Dick (a.k.a Redth) who has been instrumental in getting the .cake file extension support in GitHub.

Cake Extensions for VS Code and Visual Studio Team Services

As you might have heard at the Microsoft Connect() event yesterday, both VS Code and Visual Studio Team Services (formerly Visual Studio Online) now both support Extensions.

Cake v0.6.0 released

Version 0.6.0 of Cake has been released.

In this latest version of Cake, 0.6.0, a number of new aliases have been added, including Chocolatey, OpenCover, GitReleaseManager, and many others. There were enough new features added into this release to warrant bumping the minor release number.

Please let us know if you run into any issues with this latest release.
